MY STORY

When we re-located to North Carolina from Lowville, NY our goal was to provide more opportunities for our children.   We were attracted to the Wake County area due to the outstanding educational programs, and the access to a myriad of community activities in the Triangle area.  For the past two years, our family has been excited to make new friendships and to explore the area.  This has been an excellent transition for the entire family and we have made some great friendships with people who are from all over the country.  The sun shines every day and the weather is fantastic.  For us, it still feels like we are on vacation!

I have been married for 17 years to Kenneth Proulx, a principal at HRMS, and have four children, Brian, Alexis, Cassidy, and Jamie.   After 11 years working as a high school counselor, I decided to change careers and use my B.A. degree in Economics to pursue a career in real estate.  I am proud to be employed by one of the largest and most recognized real estate firms in the nation, Coldwell Banker Howard Perry & Walston.  Although my main office is near the Crabtree Mall on Creedmoor Rd. in Raleigh, I also travel throughout the county and work from my home in Sunset Ridge Subdivision in Holly Springs.  I have sold over $4 million in homes last year and plan to expand my business in the upcoming months by adding new marketing resources and a personal assistant to my business.  My business background, experience in real estate investments, and career in counseling have helped me to make a smooth transition to real estate business.

I have a Quality Service Certification that assures my clients will receive my quality service guarantee and a professional attitude.  In addition to being trained as a Qualified Service Agent, I have volunteered on the Holly Ridge Elementary and Middle School PTA, Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity, Coats for Kids Program, and am a trained Vision Screener for students.  I am proud to be a member of “Chix in Business” in Cary as we are a newly incorporated women’s networking group and the first one nationwide.  In any “spare time” I enjoy being in my neighborhood book club and socializing through bunko nights in Holly Springs.
